About the Ideathon
A rapid-fire idea-presentation challenge where teams identify real-world cybersecurity problems and pitch innovative solutions using a poster. Teams submit their poster 1 day before the event, then present for 3 minutes followed by a 2-minute Q&A session.
Competition Format
- Teams must submit their poster 1 day before the event (deadline will be communicated)
- Each team gets 3 minutes to present their solution
- Followed by 2 minutes of Q&A with judges
- Teams must define problem statement clearly
- Judges evaluate based on rubric: poster points, problem definition, validation, and solution feasibility w.r.t implementation
- Negative points for speaking less or more than the allocated time
- Team with top points wins
Rules & Guidelines
- Teams must consist of 2-3 members
- Poster must be submitted 1 day before the event (deadline will be communicated)
- Presentation time is strictly 3 minutes (no exceptions)
- Q&A session is 2 minutes per team
- All team members must participate in the presentation
- Teams must clearly define the problem statement
- Solutions must address real-world cybersecurity problems
- Posters must be original work of the team
- Judges evaluate based on: poster points, problem definition, validation, and solution feasibility w.r.t implementation
- Negative points will be deducted for speaking less or more than the allocated 3 minutes
- Judges' questions must be answered during Q&A session
- Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification
- Judges' decisions are final and binding
